What is DCA?
Offered in partnership with Columbus City Schools (CCS) and I Know I Can (IKIC), the Denison-Columbus Alliance admits up to 20 high-achieving CCS and/or IKIC seniors each year, providing financial support for four years.
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of alumni and friends of the university, we are pleased to offer exceptional financial aid packages to high achieving Columbus-area students. These aid packages guarantee at least full tuition and may also cover all or a portion of costs associated with housing and meals based on each individual student’s demonstrated financial need. Additionally, all loans are removed from DCA students’ financial aid packages and — if eligible — are replaced with Denison grant aid, so that every DCA student has the ability to graduate debt-free.
Who can apply?
DCA is offered in partnership with I Know I Can, the only college-access program in Columbus, and Columbus City Schools. All high school seniors attending either Columbus City Schools or a school with an I Know I Can chapter are invited to apply for this opportunity. Scholars will be selected based on academic records, extracurricular achievements, essays, recommendations, and financial need.
